FOR NAD

NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme involved in critical biological processes such as energy production and DNA repair. As its levels decline with age, NAD support has been linked to improved metabolism and increased cellular energy, factors that may contribute to better weight management.

NAD, AGING & OBESITY

What is NAD and how does it work in LOSEBIG against obesity?

Adenine nicotinamide dinucleotide as a coenzyme, or “helper” molecule as it is called, binds directly to other enzymes and participates in the activation of biochemical reactions at the cellular level. Without it, the human body could not function properly. It has the two dominant roles in the human body, to create energy and to regulate cell function. As an accessory molecule, it directly and indirectly affects many cellular functions, including DNA repair, gene expression and immune function.

NAD levels decrease with age, as the body produces less as it ages. In addition, inflammation, and oxidative stress destroy it in the body. Low NAD is the cause of many age-related problems. Decreasing it, leads to a decrease in healthy cellular metabolism. This, in turn, results in the familiar signs of aging, such as loss of muscle tone, decreased exercise capacity, obesity and weakness.
