The present systematic review and meta-analysis examined the effect of apple cider vinegar consumption on lipid and glycemic parameters. From 9 selected studies (Bashiri R.2014, J EndocrinolMetab. 2009,CurrRes. 2017, Kausar S 2019, Khezri SS 2018, Kondo T 2009, Mahmoodi M 2013, Mohammadpourhodki R 2015, Panetta CJ. 2013) involving a total of 686 participants, the analysis showed that apple cider vinegar consumption had a significant positive effect on total cholesterol (TC) levels, as well as a trend towards a reduction in serum triglycerides (TG).
